I’m Ao, the brains behind this whole operation. My favorite way to make art is through storytelling, and I’ve found the best way to tell stories is through comics, so I’m a tried and true comic artist. I tell tend to lean towards romance, fantasy, and animals when creating, but I am an avid consumer of everything, especially when it comes to Japanese manga.

Hi I’m N. and I am a writer for The Amateur. I hope to write articles on topics I feel are interesting or something more people should know about both surrounding the art world and anything else I find interesting.

I am Janiya Gigo. A 16 year old Indian student. I was born in Kerala and brought up in India and Saudi Arabia, basically was in two different countries. I have achieved Secondary School Leaving Certificate from India with 98%. I started creating art from the influence of my sister. 

Hi!! I'm Bria. I'm not great at drawing but im getting there. I've been drawing since I was 8 months old and still love to do so. I've tried all different kinds of mediums but settled on digital art back in June, 25. I enjoy reading all types of books and comics but my favorite would have to be Goodnight Punpun and the Young Gothic series. I'm not really sure what else to say so that's it.

I'm Niamh, I basically just follow what Ao says, I'm usually just doing small things here and there. I'm big into photography due to my grandfather who has been a professional photographer for over 40 years. 

I also like experimenting with other traditional art forms such as oil pains and watercolours, usually painting scenery or plants
